‘Impressions‘ is a creative project by an eclectic group of female photographers from around the globe. We aim to share the inspiration behind what we do through our monthly posts.
On the 8th of each month, we will be sharing 8 images that tell the story of what inspired us in the previous weeks: our families, nature, weather, or maybe even work itself! We are free to explore the meaning of ‘impressions’, and it is likely to change month to month.
December, a month of celebrations!
Paklesavond is on December 5th. It’s Sint Nicolaas’ birthday and regarded as children’s day. And let me tell you it’s celebrated in a big way here in The Netherlands! The older my child gets, the more I start to see how everyone goes all out on this day.
Mr. V turned 7!! The only cliched thing I can say is time just flies! He is totally into Lego’s and we frequent the local Lego shop to have a browse.
We made day trips to Belgium to spend our Christmas vacation and these are glimpses of our time spent in a very beautiful city-Antwerp.
This year, I went ahead and bought myself a small pink coloured Chirstimas tree! I know some people disapprove of crazy coloured trees, but I’m in love with this one! Can’t wait to get the right baubles for it this year
This project has been a great source of inspiration for me personally, and I hope for you too! To complete the circle, please hop on to the very talented Susanne Ashby’s blog!
